You will get to support our community by providing a high level of customer experience to the public, in an energetic and fast-paced environment.

Pierce County Parks and Recreation manages over 5,200 acres of open space, trails, developed and undeveloped parks. We provide recreational programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions: Parks and Recreation, Administration and Resource Stewardship. Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Greeting Customers and providing assistance via email, phone and in person
- Assisting with program registrations
- Park Shelter and Field Rentals
- Operate point of sale system and accurately process payments
- Multi-line phones
- Aiding in the security of the facility
- Work with little or no supervision in a self-motivated manner
We have two positions available, each working a different schedule.
1. Opening Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 6:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
2. Closing Schedule: Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun 4:30 p.m. to close (closing time is between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. depending on programming)Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous cash handling experience is highly desired
- Customer service-related work
- Knowledge of Microsoft products
