Salesforce CRM Administrator (Higher Education)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CRM Administrator to join our team, supporting our Higher Education client in optimizing their Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance the Salesforce ecosystem to meet organizational objectives, streamline processes, and improve user experience. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and a passion for enabling educational excellence through technology.
Salesforce Administration:
- Configure and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, roles, permissions, workflows, and security settings.
- Develop and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types tailored to higher education requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by managing de-duplication, data imports, and validation processes.
- Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues and answering Salesforce-related queries.
- Support integrations with third-party applications and platforms used in the higher education sector.
- Ensure compliance with institutional data governance policies and privacy regulations, including FERPA and GDPR where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (required); Advanced Administrator or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Minimum 2-4 years of Salesforce administration experience, preferably within the Higher Education sector.
- Must have experience with Salesforce in a Higher Ed setting
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Salesforce Education Cloud (preferred).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Experience with declarative development tools (Flow, Process Builder, etc.).
- Experience in User Management, Data Management, and Configuration.
- Proficient in data management tools like Data Loader and Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM processes in higher education, including admissions, student engagement, and alumni relations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders effectively.
