The Math Program within the Academic Foundations, Essentials and Gateways (YESS) Pathway, is looking for an Instructional Administrative Assistant II (IAA2) to join our team.
The Pathway welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and abilities to study and develop their skills in preparation for a variety of careers and/or transfer to four-year institutions. The IAA2 works with faculty, administrative staff, casual staff, student workers and Pathway leadership to enhance our students’ learning experience by ensuring classes, events, and facilities are well supported at the Rock Creek Campus and across the service district. They liaise with a variety of stakeholders to perform a full range of administrative support duties.
IAA2s work independently, responding to a variety of situations. Successful IAA2s have the ability to make sound decisions regarding whether they are able to provide appropriate support or seek assistance from the lead administrative worker or Program Dean. The scope of this may include developing work schedules, onboarding, and providing ongoing support. Remote work and the use of technology to perform duties off site may be needed.

- Experience with Banner or similar data management systems as well as Google Applications (email, calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of administrative support experience or one year in a position equivalent to IAA I.
College or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the administrative experience requirement.
Other equivalent combinations of experience and training will be considered.
