Job Description about the position… The Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering support for corporate training programs. This position supports the learning and development life cycle of an employee, including, but not limited to, new employee training and orientation, leadership development programs, and employee skills and career development. This role includes the development of innovative training activities and multimedia presentations. position details/responsibilities… Organize activities for training events, including the scheduling of rooms and attendees, creating and preparing course materials, and coordinating participant travel. Support corporate training programs by assisting with the planning and scheduling of training sessions, managing training data and reports, and overseeing training supply inventory and classroom management. Maintain and facilitate the licensing requirements for employees including technical licensing, trade associations and apprenticeship programs. Manage training department communications such as the publication of the training schedule, participant invitations and presentation materials. Assist training team with various projects and activities, including the opportunity to lead some training activities as well as the possibility for some training facilitation. here’s what we’re looking for… Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university as well as 1-2 years’ work experience. Possess excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written). Have strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with changing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of learning management systems is a plus, but not required.
