What You’ll Do:
- Provide push-in support to grades 3-5 classroom teachers in Math and ELA
- Work with small groups of students to reinforce essential literacy and numeracy skills
- Assist in developing students’ reading comprehension, writing, and math problem-solving abilities
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student growth
- Adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized support as needed
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Duration: March 11, 2025 – April 30, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Dates Off:
- April 14–18: Spring Recess
- Experience: Previous experience tutoring or teaching ELA and Math at the elementary level
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of grades 3-5 ELA and Math concepts
- Engagement Skills: Ability to motivate and inspire students in a supportive learning environment
- Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with teachers and school staff to align instruction with classroom goals
- Adaptability: Capable of adjusting teaching strategies based on student needs
- Commitment: Must be available for the full duration of the program
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
