JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters always maintaining professional composure and handling all matters with confidentiality, and confidence.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a 2 year degree–prefer 4 year degree in related field. Some experience preferred. Organized professional with excellent computer skills required.
Essential Functions:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Assists with annual benefit enrollment, health & wellness activities, fund raisers for company and employee events and meetings
- Assists with all training duties
- Assists with payroll/benefit-related reconciliations
- Assists HR Manager with various projects
- Interviews and assists with temporary and hourly personnel placement and activity.
- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance in various HR systems.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assists with new-employee orientations/onboarding.
- Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
- Prepares job postings, assists with recruitment efforts.
- Assists with various EHS, CORE administration and activities.

- Excellent Communication- both written and oral, ability to present Critical Evaluation.

- Computer literacy- Proficient in PPT, Excel, presentations, training
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment/ Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear, climb stairs.

We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Travel: Local travel to various workshops, job fairs etc. is required.
