What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead Revenue Cycle position at Preferred Primary Care Physicians, Inc.?
Under minimal supervision, this position will serve as a resource for Central Revenue Cycles staff in areas including, but not limited to, coding, charge entry, payor guidelines, payment posting, AR denials, and collections. The ideal applicant will maintain their day-to-day responsibilities of charge posting or billing and will also assist management in employee education and problem solving throughout the Revenue Cycle department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of revenue cycle specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Assist employees with day-to-day questions, issues, and problems.
- Manage their charge posting and billing responsibilities while assisting staff.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute long-term strategies for revenue cycle improvements.
- Assist management in maintaining workflow to ensure that departmental goals are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for department employees regarding revenue cycle systems.
- Address complex issues and challenges related to revenue cycle systems, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Make informed decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term organizational goals

- Proficiency with revenue cycle management systems and software.
