Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Receptionist at Prime IV Hydration and Wellness Greenbrier (Volvo), you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking IV hydration therapy and wellness services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting with scheduling, facilitating sales, and ensuring that clients have a comfortable and memorable experience. You will also work alongside our medical team to ensure that services are delivered safely and efficiently, applying your EMT-B or paramedic knowledge as needed.
This position is a dual role that requires someone who is an enthiusiastic, proactive and hardworking individual who is passionate about health and wellness, excels in customer service, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet clients with a warm and professional demeanor, answer questions, and provide guidance on services offered. Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Sales: Proactively promote services and packages, upsell additional products, and assist clients in choosing the best hydration treatments for their needs. Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Scheduling & Administrative Support: Manage appointments, make follow-up calls, help with marketing events, help with social media marketing, confirm bookings, process payments, and maintain accurate records in our booking system.
- Clinical Support (EMT-B/Paramedic Role): Assist with client intake, assess basic health concerns, and provide immediate support in emergency situations as required. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Facility Management: Ensure that the spa is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with daily operations and troubleshooting as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with spa staff, medical professionals, and management; attend team meetings to ensure smooth operations and the best possible client experience.
Requirements:
- Must have EXCELLENT IV START SKILLS.
- Certification: Active EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician-Basic) or Paramedic certification is required.
- Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a health and wellness or spa environment.
- Sales Skills: Ability to proactively engage clients and sell services, products, and packages with a genuine passion for health and wellness.
- Proactive & Hardworking: Self-motivated, responsible, and able to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a wellness spa, medical office, or health-related field.
- Experience with appointment scheduling software and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of IV hydration therapy or wellness services (training will be provided)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification.
