We are seeking an experienced Materials Management Information Systems Specialist to join our Health System’s Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, specifically in purchasing, inventory control, and materials management, as well as experience with Workday and Cerner. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Health System’s materials management information systems, including the implementation, integration, and maintenance of the Workday and Cerner interface/platforms. You will also be responsible for data management, system configuration, and providing support to end-users. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Manage the Health System materials management information systems, including Workday and Cerner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements and process improvements to optimize the use of the systems. Manage system configuration, including the creation of custom fields and workflows, to meet the Health System supply chain management needs. Develop and maintain reports to support data analysis and decision-making. Support end-users in their daily use of the system, including troubleshooting and providing training when necessary. Partner with vendors and IT to resolve system-related issues and to ensure system integrations are functioning optimally. Ensure system compliance with industry and regulatory requirements related to supply chain management. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of purchasing processes and inventory control. At least 3 years of experience in materials management, supply chain management, or related field. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with implementing and managing Workday and Cerner systems. Familiarity with healthcare supply chain management regulations and requirements is a plus.
