What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Pulse Power Technologies LLC?
At Pulse PEMF, our mission is to enhance all life. We do this by manufacturing, selling, and supporting the world’s leading PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) technology for wellness. We are seeking a new team member to serve as checks-and-balance within our production department. This role will be pivotal in developing quality standards, conducting tests and identifying issues within the production of our products or services. Ultimately, working with a team to ensure our final products meet our organisation's standards across the board. This position is full-time, salaried, and reports to the Quality Systems Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data. Ensure floor compliance with QMS and QMS documentation of floor practices.
- Monitor the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
- Provide guidance to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage employees.
- Remove faulty products from the floor, notify Inventory Specialists.
- Maintain, monitor, and clean work areas.
- Examine products and packaging for damage, defects, or shortages, using spec sheets and standards charts.
- Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to receiving, storage, and shipping; identify any issues to the Production Operations Manager.
- Work with Inventory Specialist on proper rotation for all inventory and various items.
- Perform daily quality inspections for all location teams.
- Complete daily dump and damage report and give it to the Production Operations Manager.
- Pay close attention to damaged or inferior products and bring to the attention of Production Operations Manager
- Work with Supply Chain Analyst/Inventory Specialist to complete annual supplier review and renewals
- This position may require travel
Minimum Education
- Professional degree or equivalent work experience

- 4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance
