Job Summary:
As a Front Office Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring accurate and efficient patient registration and providing outstanding customer service. You will assist patients, verify insurance information, and support the overall office workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, either in person or over the phone, and respond to inquiries.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and updating patient information.
- Utilize the Practice Management System (EMR) to note patient arrivals and ensure accurate records.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients who missed appointments.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communications.
- Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager.
