Randolph House Hotel, a highly anticipated new addition to the Liverpool/North Syracuse hospitality scene, is set to open its doors in March 2025! We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Banquet Staff to join our team and help create unforgettable dining and event experiences for our guests.

Job Summary:
As a member of our Banquet Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service for events, meetings, and banquets hosted at Randolph House Hotel. You will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet functions while ensuring guests receive top-tier hospitality throughout their experience.
Key Responsibilities:Event Setup & Breakdown:
- Prepare banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications, including table settings, décor, and seating arrangements.
- Set up buffet stations, beverage stations, and serving areas as needed.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are clean, organized, and in place before and after each event.
Guest Service & Hospitality:
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests during banquets and events.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly dining environment throughout the event.
Team Collaboration & Efficiency:
- Work closely with the banquet captain, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to ensure seamless service.
- Follow instructions regarding event timing, meal courses, and service procedures.
- Assist in the timely clearing and resetting of banquet spaces after events.
Safety & Cleanliness:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow hotel policies regarding alcohol service and guest safety.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow event instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, set up tables, and stand for extended periods.
