As a Field Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating operational efforts across each of our client or event programs, with a focus on field operations. Take part in leading events with external partners and industry leaders during the Rivals Camp Series, Jr. NBA Global Championship, MLB Pitch Hit & Run, NAIA Showcases, and NFL FLAG Football tournaments. A successful Individual in this role will work well on a team and thrive under pressure. You'll bring prior experience coaching and training youth athletes in multiple sports including football and a passion for providing on-field instruction for youth athletes.
What you’ll do:
- Assist the RCX Sports Events department with all facets of event field operations including but not limited to, equipment coordination and shipping of event materials, producing and distributing travel coordination plans and event itineraries, and preparation of event materials
- Collaborate with RCX Sports Events management team to manage the coordination of 1099 event staff, interns, and volunteers during all RCX Sports events
- Assist Events management with on-site station set-up and oversight
- Act as a primary stakeholder in the Events inventory process to ensure each event is properly equipped to provide elite experiences for RCX Sports Events attendees
- Assist with events email inbox management including outbound event promotion and registration communication and RCX Sports Events customer support
- Prepare and analyze data around RCX Sports events properties and provide finalized reports to RCX Sports management and executive teams
- Assist with conceptualization of event integrations and collaboratively with internal partners to execute key initiatives
- Routinely move event materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds
- Provide support with additional responsibilities and special projects related to the advancement of RCX Sports Events properties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (required)
- The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Availability to regularly work on weekends or travel based on event dates
- Working knowledge and prior background in events operations (preferred)
- Former experience as a college athlete or coach (preferred)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to build authentic, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to critically think under pressure with documented experience in processing multiple tasks requiring multiple systems and varying deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Initiative-taking and driven professional mindset with a passion for the enhancement of youth sports across the country
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, G-Suite: Google Sheets, Slides and Docs, etc.
- Passion for collaboratively working in a team environment
More about the role:
- Travel: 65% of the year or more
- Work Schedule: Full-Time, weekly schedule varies with frequent travel, weekends, and some nights required
- Compensation Structure: This position is a FLSA-Exempt salaried position (paid semi-monthly) and is ineligible for overtime pay. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on employee and company performance
- Location: Hybrid - Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI – This position will regularly travel or work at least 3 days per week on-site at the RCX Sports office in Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI and may occasionally work from home.
