Summary:
The Account Executive will build customer relationships, attend/coordinate customer sales meetings, monitor distributions/replenishments, manage promotions, update/monitor financial projections, and maintain team open task list.
There is heavy coordination of the various internal departments including Sales, Operations, Shoppers Marketing, Procurement, Field Service, and Marketing to ensure flawless execution and timely communications.
To be successful, you will:
• Monitor New Release shipments to ensure on-time processing of orders and compliance with the sales plan.
• Execute and process promotions within the company system to insure proper lead time and accurate distributions.
• Prepare and present monthly customer sales meeting presentations.
• Maintain customer and internal financial projections and report on weekly customer business reviews.
• Create and present internal quarterly sales reviews.
• Maintain ongoing promotional calendar with historical distribution and sales information.
• Run sales and inventory reports as needed from internal and customer systems.
• Review pricing to ensure both cost and consumer retail accuracy.
• Track major releases and promotions compliance and communicate results to Field Service.
• Monitor sales progress for promotions from Field Service store level solicitations.
• Distribute new store information and monitor progress through the grand opening.
• Be able to travel 30% and evaluate stores as needed.
• Interact with competitor suppliers in planning POG’s and promotions.
You have:
- College degree in business or similar field.
- 3+ years' success in outside business development, sales or account management.
- Record of managing complex/long sales cycles.
- Outstanding negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - in person, phone, email and presentation.
- Advanced skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Top-notch communication skills.
