Red Hat is looking for recent graduates to join us in Raleigh, NC in September, 2024. In this role, you will passionately advocate for the associate experience and experience the culture of our open organization.
Bringing our open culture to life for our associates requires many different roles. From compensation consultants, leadership development experts, to partnering directly with senior leaders, the People Team works to create an inclusive, engaging and open experience for all Red Hatters.
During the 27 months graduate program you will get to rotate through 3 different roles within the People Team aligned to your interests and organizational needs. You will gain relevant industry knowledge, company exposure and hands-on HR experience and be supported in that journey by an intense learning program and existing Red Hatters as your buddies. At the end of this intense learning experience, you are prepared for a variety of roles and will understand where your career path at Red Hat could take you.
What you will do
Putting your knowledge of human resources best practices to use by assisting with specific projects under the supervision and mentoring of experienced Red Hatters.
Use your general human resources knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for a wide range of talent challenges.
Constantly learn about Red Hat’s business, culture and strategy and apply those concepts to enable our most valuable asset, our people.
Assist your Red Hat team members in setting expectations with stakeholders and delivering a wide variety of solutions to the business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues and the business, developing your own network for long-term placement.
Complete a number of training courses at Red Hat university as recommended.
Use your critical thinking skills to tackle tough problems in an innovative way.
Proactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring.
Bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the team while identifying new opportunities
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.
What you will bring
Passion for people and a desire to build a career in human resources
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Ability to work effectively on your own and as a part of a team
Ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, and excellent communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and take a systems thinking approach to a challenge
Demonstrated ability and initiative to find the correct resources and collect required information
Enthusiastic, motivated, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Fluent spoken and written English
Willingness to travel during the graduate program as well working remotely and in the office in Raleigh, NC depending on assignment
The mandatory start date of our graduate program is September 9, 2024.
