Position Summary
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily office functions and school “business side” responsibilities.
- As first point of contact, provide excellent customer service and public relations.
- Assist Principal and Admissions Director with administrative details, campus wide events and activities, marketing, and communicating information for the school, PTF and church.
- Exercise independent judgment, discretion and initiative with staff, parents, students and vendors.

Essential Duties
- Exercise independent judgment, discretion and initiative always considering the whole RHL team and mission using common sense, while working closely with the Principal and Director of Admissions.
- Assist the Principal with the analysis of data, providing results, sharing suggestions and implementing project.
- IT liaison for repairs, replacements, purchases, contracts, initiatives, upgrades, and staff communications for IT security and maintenance.
- Interpret, explain, and apply rules, policies and procedures.
- Clear and concise correspondence and communication.
- Discretion in sensitive, privileged and confidential matters.
- Coordinate and prioritize office duties, functions and schedules:
- supply purchasing, prioritizing/screening calls and visitors, payment forms, lunch vendors and app, SIS database/FACTS app/security camera/website/ campus access and visitor sign-in systems, record keeping, health room policies/ forms/procedures, disaster drill procedures/supplies, activity/event schedules, back to school processes, summer support, field trip/permission slips, volunteer management, key box, packages and mail, event hosting, PTF support, church support, payment approval, radio inventory, SOP for attendance.

Education:
Any combination equivalent to: College degree; Five years of management experience with public contact and team projects including professional verbal and written communication, extensive computer applications, and negotiation skills.
Experience:
Customer service job experience as the first point of contact. Experience in an educational setting is desired.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Knowledge of:
Professional written and verbal communication; organizational techniques including record keeping and archiving; public relations; correspondence and report writing with proper written English; computer applications including Microsoft and Google; telephone etiquette; comfort providing basic first aid.
Ability to:
Perform and coordinate a wide variety of responsible clerical jobs and manage projects while using independent judgment with high frequency of interruptions; interpret, explain, and apply regulations, policies and operational procedures; maintain confidentiality and use discretion while completing duties; comply with the RHLS’s customer service standards, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
