Requirements Of The Bridge Project Manager Engineer
- A degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E.).
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Ohio, with eligibility for licensing in Indiana and Kentucky.
- 10-15 years of expertise in bridge design.
- Proven experience developing structure plans for DOT projects.
- Familiarity with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Manual.
- Excellent skills in technical writing and verbal communication.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Completed the FHWA 2-Week Bridge Inspection Course or the 1-Week course for Professional Engineers.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software.
- Background in bridge inspections.
- Knowledgeable in the Bridge Inspection Reference Manual.
- 100% onsite, in-office work
