Job Purpose and Objectives:
The Data Analyst/Trainer is responsible for conducting the full lifecycle of data analytics to include requirements and design, data cleaning, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, linking databases and datasets, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in models. This position will be responsible for identifying training needs within the department(s) and executing the training for all employees. The Data Analyst/Trainer will support the fulfillment of the organization’s mission and values and works under general supervision.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or a closely related field with similar technical and computational emphasis preferred.
- Three years of related experience involving data analysis preferred; one-two years of experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a name-based record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJIS-sensitive information.
- Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint-based check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.
