REPORTS TO: Area Supervisor
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Administrative Assistants provide support to managers, other employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for answering telephones and delivering messages promptly
- Responsible for greeting visitors at the front door in a respectful and pleasant manner
- Assist Safety Director as needed
- Assist management and supervisors as needed with projects, correspondence, etc.
- Assist Sales Assistant with filing as needed
- Assist HR Assistant with Human Resources as needed
- All other duties assigned by supervisor
- Attend meetings.
- Keeping the office clean
- Scaling trucks in/out
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
SAFETY
- Follow all office safety regulations

When in one of the mills:
- Follow all area/machine center specific safety regulations
- Wear all required personal protective equipment: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc…as required
- Do not enter restricted areas
- Report immediately to your supervisor or any available supervisor any piece of equipment that is unsafe or functioning improperly to eliminate unsafe conditions
- Follow all other safety regulations as set forth by the company
