Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: On-Site in our Artesia, NM office
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Administrative Assistant at Riley Exploration Permian, Inc. in our Artesia, NM location. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including providing department and leadership administrative assistance, office support and communication within the company to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. The role will require strong clerical skills and attention to detail under minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer the telephone and/or greet customers, vendors, etc. in a courteous and professional manager and direct to the required department and/or person as needed
- Operate a computer workstation to input, update and retrieve data as it is relative to the position assigned
- File and retrieve organizational documents, records, and reports
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail and distributes appropriately
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher preferred, or 4-5 years of Administrative Assistance experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain both digital and hard copy files
- Ability to multitask on several different projects for different team member while being able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the energy or oil and gas industry preferred
- Familiarity with databases and their functionality
