We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. This role focuses on maintaining general accounting functions, managing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Bookkeeper will contribute to the efficiency of the accounting department by handling both daily accounting tasks and vendor payments. Responsibilities:• Accurately process and verify invoices in compliance with company policies• Manage the payment process including wires, ACH transfers, and other payment methods• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices according to payment terms and schedules• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly• Verify sales tax and other related information on invoices for proper tax compliance• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies• Support the finance team during month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing reports related to accounts payable• Assist with journal entries and reconciliations during month-end and year-end closing processes• Prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations for various accounts• Support internal and external audits as required• Assist in preparation of annual budget, business plan and financial board reports• Create various ad hoc analysis and reports as needed
