We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a PART-TIME Bookkeeper in Nesconset, New York. The primary function of this role is to contribute to the financial department, including creating purchase orders, overseeing payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records.Responsibilities:• Execution of data entry tasks, including purchase orders into QuickBooks.• Oversee payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.• Administer the reconciliation of credit cards and accounts.• Handle customer inquiries and disputes, including chargebacks.• Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable.• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency.• Answer phone calls and provide necessary information to clients.• Distribute mail within the office to ensure smooth operations.• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management.• Carry out month-end close processes to maintain financial accuracy.
