We are providing a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Manager based in Boca Raton, Florida. In the security industry, you will oversee the payroll accounting and garnishment functions, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of account reconciliations, payroll accruals, and management reports.Responsibilities:• Manage the Payroll Garnishment and Payroll Specialists• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for accounting and payroll functions• Act as a liaison between payroll, business management, HR and IT departments to increase efficiencies• Develop and analyze reports to accurately depict current and projected costs• Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts• Correctly code all payroll related G/L entries and ensure correct allocation of payroll, liabilities, and expenses• Prepare audit schedules for quarterly and annual audits• Provide monthly payroll accruals and finalize management labor reports• Analyze the payroll G/L close for posting to correct accounts and research and provide correction to payroll system configuration or request G/L account set-up• Compile, summarize, and provide necessary payroll reports as needed• Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley guidelines• Handle other duties as assigned.
