SUMMARY

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology - Inventory
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday days
ATTRIBUTES
- In lieu of degree, combination of equivalent education or work experience may be considered
- At least two (2) years of experience in cost control, inventory and asset management
- Ability to move large objects up to 50 pounds with bending and mobility, required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent business/financial acumen
- Working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology – particularly related to asset and inventory management
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and asset/inventory management/ticketing system(s)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Asset Management. Manage systems and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties and service level agreements for hardware and software; record transactional activities to manage versioning and licensing compliance; conduct software and licensing audits as needed; manage order acknowledgement, prepare shortage and backlog reports and provide visibility of potential interruption; complete monthly financial chargebacks and submit to Accounts Payable for reconciliation
- Tracking. Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates and costs; resolve order discrepancies in a timely manner; track operational and capital funding to ensure that the budget is in line with forecast
- General Management. Perform daily stock room duties across multiple locations; receive inventory, update inventory management system (i.e., Sphere), conduct internal audits and monitor equipment inventory levels; troubleshoot and resolve tickets for issues and process new requests for hardware/software for customers
