Job Summary
Works confidentially in the NTID Office of the President and Associate Vice President for NTID Administration. Reporting to the Executive Assistant/Office Manager, the position collaborates with the Events Manager supporting NTID events as well as collaborates with the NTID Financial Coordinator, ensuring continuous operations of the NTID apartments. Partners with the NTID Finance and Budget office in support of the NRSC budget annually. Serves as a liaison for NTID on the RIT Imagine planning committee. Position is a critical role, and individual must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring success of important institute events.
Must be available to work events as necessary, including evenings and weekends. Events often involve trustees, board members, advisory groups. Must be adept at meeting the needs of these constituents.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of event operations for the NTID President's Office, including but not limited to the following:
Collaborates with the financial coordinator and Independently ensures continuous operations of the NTID ten apartments. May include assessment of damage, coordinate repair, schedule maintenance, track inventory, and update apartment calendars, cleaning schedules.
Collaborates with NTID Finance and Budget Office in supporting NRSC project administration, reconciliation and reporting; assists with budget and fiscal year-end responsibilities.
Responsible for procuring facilities and coordination of institute programs including STP, SVP, EYF, STEP as well as off campus organizations seeking to use NTID facilities to include resolving space and scheduling conflicts.
Assumes responsibilities of the Executive Assistant, Financial Coordinator, and Sr. Staff Specialist in the event of their absence.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Two years in an administrative position or equivalent experience
- Experience in event planning/hospitality
- Budget experience
