SUMMARY
Responsible to perform necessary food service duties related to preparation and service of food to patients, residents and customers of RRH facilities.
STATUS: Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem openings
LOCATION: Newark-Wayne Community Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Food & Nutrition
SCHEDULE: Evening shift (up-to 8:00pm) & every-other weekend
ATTRIBUTES:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation highly preferred.
Hospitality / dietary / food industry experience highly preferred.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Acts as a Liaison between Food Services and all other departments with respect to patient meals and diets.
Delivery of meals and nourishments according to established patient identification policies and procedures.
Assist with all activities related to meal services.
Knowledge of fluid restrictions, tube feeding, diet orders and standards for restricted diets.
Qualifications:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
