What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey Party Chief position at RONALD CARROLL SURVEYORS, INC.?
This position performs highly specialized and complex paraprofessional land survey work. Serves as lead worker on a survey crew and instructs crew members on survey techniques. Oversight of survey crews distinguishes this position from a Jr. Party Chief. Responsibilities also include training employees; directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Must have:
· Knowledge of field survey methods and techniques used in land surveying and mapping.
· Knowledge of survey technology, including GPS.
· Knowledge of construction plans and specifications.
· Knowledge of survey instruments used in the measurement and location of lines, elevations, areas, angles, points, and contours of the earth’s surface.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
