This position is located within the Bureau of Financial Management and reports to the Director of Grants Reporting and Cash Management Division
Position will:
Request all federal cash draws in accordance with Agency policies and procedures. Also perform reconciliations to ensure cash draws match expenditures.
Provide required financial reports, both internally and externally for a portfolio of assigned grants. Examples of reports include, but are not limited to, submitting Federal Financial Reports (FFRs), and working with staff to provide custom reports based on need.
Prepare and submit invoices for numerous contracts along with any required documentation.
Reconcile the Agency's letter of credit draws with the associated federal systems for grants from multiple federal agencies.
Other related duties as needed .
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field and a minimum of five years professional experience in a related area, such as accounting, auditing, finance, or banking; or an approved equivalency based on education and years of experience. Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations, GAAP, and grants oversight and accountability is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access, SCEIS experience, experience with preparing cash draws and/or preparing FFR's, and experience in federal, state, or local governmental accounting.
