What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Marketing Intern position at Sage Marketing & Media LLC?
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will provide Sage M&M with social media management assistance, content creation, help as needed and ways to grow the business. You will be a dedicated resource for all accounts and craft their unique Client-Story through Copywriting, Content Creation, Branding, & Social Media Targeting. This role will require you to address the ongoing service and business needs of the company as well as looking for ways to help build the company’s brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to CEO, Christina
- Attending weekly training sessions via Zoom or in-person
- Participate and learn content creation, copywriting, analyze social media analytics, develop ways to drive more traffic to website, book more sales meetings, etc.
- Prepare Social Media Insight Reports for clients.
- Consistently monitor Industry Trends and watch competitors to see how Sage M&M can differentiate better.
- Achieve and maintain a performance standard including but not limited to call handling, call quality and customer satisfaction, and overall high-quality work.
- Employ a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to move beyond basic research and get a more in-depth perspective on aspects of marketing for a small business.
- Create content for Sage M&M and clients with training on how to do so.
- Take notes and understand fundamentals of marketing, sales, and B2B business practices, and all aspects of the business operations.
- Do Sales Calls each month and practice with Christina
- Write Blogs for Sage Marketing & Media LLC Website
- Other tasks may be identified from time to time.

- Desire to continuously learn more and stay on top of Marketing Trends & create content in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write clearly
- Must have strong understanding of G-Suite, writing, organizing, time management skills, etc
