We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency. This role is part of a team that ensures the availability and functionality of all Zoo technology systems and is pivotal in supporting both our daily operations and long-term technological goals.
Responsibilities:
• Server Administration: Oversee physical and virtual server environments (e.g., Cisco UCS, VMware, Hyper-V), ensuring stability and scalability.
• Network Administration: Configure, maintain, optimize and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks for optimal performance and security.
• Storage Management: Install, configure, and maintain storage area networks (SAN) and backups, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations (e.g., PCI)
• Cloud Integration: Support hybrid environments, including cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure IT systems align with organizational needs.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of infrastructure configurations, processes, and updates.
• Support: Provide technical support for users and resolve infrastructure-related issues. Collaborate with other departments, vendors and service providers to implement solutions.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years in relevant, documented IT infrastructure roles
• Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux), network configuration and network storage systems.
• Proficiency in VMware, SAN (Pure/NetApp), firewalls (Fortinet), backups (Veeam) and cloud services
• Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks based on changing needs
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexible work schedule required with weekend availability as needed
