Fabric Cutting Team Lead

Are you our next leader?
This position will be a working leader who will be a member of the fabric cutting process line while taking on some administration tasks, keeping the fabric line running efficiently. Team Lead experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have experience with computer-aided equipment and attention to detail.

Position Summary:
The Production Leader I position provides leadership and instruction so others in the group/cell, can complete tasks safely, timely and effectively, following standard work and SOPs. Furthermore, the Production Leader I will need to have the ability to learn the jobs performed by their team so they can assist and relieve production workers as needed. This position is an important part of improvement activities with responsibility for on-time delivery of cell schedules, the flow of the cell, and quality assurance. This leader must have a positive and encouraging outlook on safety, teamwork and support of leadership.

• 1st line support for production employees
• Respond to problems such as line stops
• Address quality issues
• Take part in continuous improvement activities
• Perform audits on SOP
• Backup to Production Leader II

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• 3-5 years related work experience with key responsibilities
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
• Previous Leadership Experience preferred
