Your Next Career Opportunity – Accounts Payable II Landlord Relations - Tax
A customer service focus position within the domestic tax department in areas related to the processing and researching of landlord property tax bills ensuring compliance with property tax policy and procedures.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently processing a high volume of property tax bills from municipalities and landowners.
- Diligent follow-up is required via email and phone calls to ground owners, assessors, tax collectors, and/or various company personnel.
- Providing customer service by resolving ground owners', tax collectors, and assessors' questions and/or problems, both individually and with the assistance of other company personnel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare checks for mailing.
- Research back billing opportunities and delinquent tax matters and communicate findings to the Property Tax Manager.
- Scan and index checks and tax bills.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required; AA strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years Accounts Payable
- Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel, Internet navigation and e-mail.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written/oral with our landlords.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel or crouch.
