SUMMARY
The OSF Processor is responsible for inspecting incoming processed parts, general inventory management, supporting order processing functions, cycle counting, and evaluating, storing, and distributing material and products
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Adhere to Inventory Control Best Practices
- Ensure that all ISO quality inspection forms for each procedure are completed correctly and on time
- Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials
- Record amount of materials or items received or distributed
- Monitor and maintain the work in-progress area on a daily basis to ensure incoming work orders are closed and processed within a 24 hour period
- Locate material from receiving or production areas to storage bins
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence including, type, style, color or product code.
- Review open order reports, work orders, or inventory to determine and distribute materials requirements or material priorities.
- Utilize electronic database to create labels for inventory stock or to prepare material for shipment.
- Follow and comply with ISO quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure MIOSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Perform weekly cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and report results utilizing the proper forms.
- Must be able to interact in person with coworkers and the public.
- Must be able to handle high stress situations.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to apply basic math concepts.
- Able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Work independently or within a team
- Manage time to complete required daily workload.
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
- Familiar with the use of a computer and software including (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Knowledge of Inventory software and order processing systems.
- Must be able to be licensed for forklift operations and be knowledgeable of the safety rules applied to its operation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or stand throughout the shift.
- Lift, move, and position materials weighing up to 50lbs.
