PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Leasing Manager’s primary duty is to be the main contact for future and current residents’ leasing needs. In addition, the Leasing Manager will facilitate relations with collegiate partners through collaboration and communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Providing excellent customer service to our residents, guests, parents and applicants.
- Organize, facilitate, and track applicants and new resident leases.
- Manage Housing Software and Student Portal.
- Prepare weekly leasing and occupancy reports for Management.
- Help facilitate the Renewal Campaign each year.
- Responsible for the placing and auditing all housing-related charges placed on HC Student Accounts.
- Responsible for creating / distributing informational and advertising content.
- Establish and maintain communications with prospective renters.
- Organize / prepare all move-in paperwork and new resident / renewal resident mailings and emails.
- Organize / track all move-outs including move-out forms, cancellations and collections of owed fees.
- Plays a role in reaching and maintaining maximum possible occupancy.
- Facilitate and oversee housing needs for students, interns and summer camps.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty adequately. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience is required.
- Prior leasing experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Need to be able to walk property to oversee curb appeal.
- Ability to function effectively and calmly in stressful situations.
ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
- Will be expected to be present for August Move-ins & other key move-in and move-out days.
- Research and stay current with industry rates, amenities, and standards.
- Must be able to provide a professional level tour of all housing and dining operations as needed.
- Will oversee scheduling and operations for the leasing desk.
