Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a passion for outdoor work and a keen eye for detail. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that properties are visually appealing and well-kept. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to execute landscaping projects and maintain existing landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
- Conduct tree trimming to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Provide lawn care services including mowing and trimming.
- Seasonal cleanups.
- Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain access to properties.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized at the end of each day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A valid driver's license may be required for driving company vehicles or transporting equipment.
