Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Compensation Manager to join our Human Resources team. Responsibilities:
- Compensation Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and industry benchmarks.
- Conduct regular market research to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive and in line with industry trends.
- Job Analysis and Evaluation:
- Conduct job evaluations to determine the appropriate salary ranges for various positions within the organization.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate and up-to-date job descriptions are maintained.
- Compensation Program Administration:
- Administer and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and bonuses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations related to compensation.
- Performance Management:
- Collaborate with the Performance Management team to align compensation with employee performance, ensuring a fair and transparent reward system.
- Develop and manage performance-based incentive programs.
- Salary Negotiation and Offer Management:
- Support recruitment efforts by providing guidance on salary ranges and participating in salary negotiations with potential candidates.
- Work closely with hiring managers to create compelling and competitive job offers.
- Employee Communication:
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding compensation policies, changes, and updates.
- Conduct regular training sessions for HR and management teams on compensation-related topics.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports for senior management on compensation metrics and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Compensation Manager in the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Proficient in HRIS and compensation management software.
