Job Summary
This position oversees all individual volunteers and their functions at SECOR Cares, a faith-based non-profit free food market working to alleviate suburban poverty in Douglas, Arapahoe and Elbert Counties of Colorado.
The Volunteer and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and placing of individual volunteers as required by the different departments of the organization.
Duties
- 2 years of experience leading volunteers in a food bank or a related non-profit area.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong relational skills and ability to manage conflict.
- Excellent writing ability and the ability to effectively communicate with groups via email.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead through changing circumstances.
- Database management skills.
- Fully supports the faith-based mission of SECOR Cares.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
