Job Description for Level I or provider Position:
The role of the Level One Provider at Senzilla Health Services is to provide Observation and Direction services to an assigned caseload of Behavior Technicians. Observation and Direction requires the Level One Provider to directly view their assigned Behavior Technician’s service delivery to ensure the effective implementation of the child’s treatment plan. Observation and Direction can be provided in person or via two-way video.
The Observation component requires Level One providers to observe each of their assigned Behavior Technicians between 6-8 hours each week while they are delivering services to their client’s. The observations need to focus on the Behavior Technician's execution of the child’s Individualized Treatment Plan and their ability to effectively deliver Applied Behavior Analysis interventions. Observations should also note significant changes in the child’s behavior or response to treatment, issues with the Behavior Technicians implementation of ABA interventions, environmental issues impacting care or other session components that have been requested to be observed.
The Direction component requires the Level One provider to provide the Behavior Technician with Protocol Modifications to improve their service delivery. The protocol modifications can include recommendations for adjustments to specific treatment components or their delivery, to the stimuli being used, to the prompts or reinforcers being used, to the environment or to any other aspect of the child’s treatment that is in need of adjustment to improve client care. Protocol Modification is a required component of providing Direction to your assigned Behavior Technicians.
