Detailed Tasks:

The CMM Programmer is part of the Engineering Department and is key to how the business flows. Detailed Tasks:
- Work with the Quality Assurance Manager, Manufacturing / Operations Team and Engineering Team to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improvement CMM programs in PC-DMIS software using set-up documentation, process drawings, inspection plans and other relevant info.
- Understand and leverage equipment capability for material and productivity.
- Participate and Drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Via training and in-house events
- Ensure PC-DMIS software is up to date and current.
- Work with software providers and internal team on technology changes.
- Manage and implement changes to all CMM programs
- Records test data clearly and accurately such that it is easy to interpret by others.
- Summarizes test data into graphical form for ease of interpretation of trends.
- Associates or Technical Training is preferred
- 3 years experience in Quality Assurance in Manufacturing in required.
- Aviation / Defense sector strongly preferred
- Interprets engineering drawings, process specifications and test / inspection data to ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Performs / Verifies all outside testing documentation.
- Expert knowledge of CMM equipment fixed or portable, calipers, bore gages, micrometers, height gages and other equipment:
- Strongly prefer Sheffield D-12 and D-28 machine experience.
- Working knowledge / advanced skills with PC-DMIS software is required.
- Compensation: DOE - $30 to 40 /hour is possible
