Job Overview
Welcome to Serve & Savour! We are a family owned and operated full-service Catering company based out of Melissa, Texas. Rentals, Staffing, Food, and Beverages are our main offerings. We have a strong presence in Dallas, and are trying to expand more into the North Dallas areas. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing catering inquiries from inception to execution, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and have experience in business development, with a focus on building relationships and creating unique and memorable experiences for our clients. This position will come with a base salary and commission paid on events sold.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, logistics, and staffing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Utilize Dubsado CRM to track leads, manage client interactions, and streamline the sales process.
- Conduct direct sales activities, including cold calling potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure catering agreements.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering orders.
- Monitor event execution to ensure high-quality service and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the catering or food service industry.
- Familiarity with Dubsado or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in B2B sales is a plus; familiarity with inside and outside sales strategies is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
