Job Description
Together Today invites adults 55 to enrich their lives through fun, educational, and healthy activities with friends new and established. Our Together Today Program provides an excellent opportunity for seniors to get together on a regular basis, make new friends, and have a wonderful time socializing together. The goal of the program is to prevent isolation and create community for older adults.
Reporting to the Program Manager & Director of Programs, the Together Today Coordinator will be responsible for the programmatic success of Together Today, ensuring program goals and mission are met.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Create, prepare and print monthly events calendar.
· Maintain updated & accurate sponsor contact information.
· Communicate with program sponsors, supporters, lead volunteers and participants to ensure the program calendar is followed.
· Work with the lead volunteers to implement the weekly program events and cover program events when volunteers are unavailable.
· Monitor & obtain any supplies or needed items for Together Today locations.
· Visit and check-in with each Together Today group regularly to ensure that successful and positive community is being created.
· Collect attendance sheets and donations from each group on a regular basis and input attendance data.
· Collect & input participant contact information into database, updating as needed.
· Follow up with new Together Today participants who have attended the group to ensure they feel welcomed to the program.
· Complete necessary program reports requested by Program Manager & Director of Programs.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Meets regularly with Program Manager for supervision, training, and client case review; maintains positive and consistent communication with supervisor and responds to requests in a timely manner.
· Maintains confidentiality for all client interviews, phone calls, meetings, records, and reports and ensure client information secure.
· Attends all necessary team and staff meetings to ensure communication between team members on any client case and organizational issues and events.
· Other tasks as needed requested by Program Manager.
· Assist SCHC staff and leadership with special activities or events as requested to ensure mission of organization is furthered in community.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
· Demonstrated success implementing programs and services (preferred in non-profit setting)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and program databases
· Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group
· Ability to travel around Hamilton County to Together Today group locations. A valid driver’s license and insurance
· Clear & effective verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
· Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for SCHC’s mission

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
