Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Security Management: Secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, perform security assessments, and enforce security policies.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage GCP IAM roles, policies, and permissions for least privilege access.
- Incident Response: Detect, analyze, and mitigate security incidents. Develop cloud-specific response procedures.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure GCP environment follows GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS compliance.
- Security Automation & Monitoring: Implement automated security solutions and leverage GCP security tools (Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, etc.).
- Collaboration: Work with cloud architects, DevOps, and developers to integrate security in all cloud deployments.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain security policies, procedures, and provide regular security reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years in cloud security, focused on Google Cloud (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with GCP security tools (IAM, Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, VPC Service Controls, etc.).
- Expertise in Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) & Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools:
- Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender
- AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, GuardDuty, IAM, network security, and firewalls.
- Scripting & Automation: Terraform, Python, Shell scripting.
- Experience with container security: Kubernetes, serverless environments.
- Strong change management & cloud compliance knowledge.
