STLLP's Boca Raton, FL metro area office, located on W Yamato Road, seeks an efficient and enthusiastic Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team!
The individual must be punctual, motivated and reliable. In addition, successful candidates should be able to multi-task, be well organized, have a keen attention to detail, and be self-motivated. College degree preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word) required. Great opportunity for advancement! A robust training program makes this position an ideal entry into the legal field. This is a full-time in-office position, with the ability to work one day remote upon the successful completion of 120 days of employment.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze and process data, as assigned, to ensure that proper work flow is being adhered to pursuant to the expectations of both clients and STLLP
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Utilize internal software to properly update and document the status of each assigned account
- Prepare documentation for attorney review
- E-file pleadings with the various state specific court filing systems
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain efficient office operations
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties
- Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures set forth by the office
- Ensure quality of work while maintaining quantity of work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Professionalism and a positive attitude
- Bachelor's degree preferred for this position
