Someburros is looking to hire an accounting clerk who will assist with day-to-day accounting
activities including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations as well as balance sheet GL maintenance. If
you’re ready to become part of a team where your number-crunching skills will be celebrated,
we’d love to meet you. Bonus points if you can make balancing books sound more exciting than
it actually is.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to work well with other departments and have empathy for their time and skills.
- Organized and efficient.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits, along with basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Docs.
- Has aspirations to further their career in accounting and is willing to put in the work to get there.
- Ability to translate accounting reports to non-accountants.
- Excellent communicator – Thoughtful yet to the point.
- Understands how to get people to do something for them through positive reinforcement and means.
- Highly detailed (pennies, not dollars)
- Although Someburros is growing, we still pride ourselves on an entrepreneurial spirit. We want someone who sees no task as too small or is afraid to get their hands dirty (in accounting work).
Work Schedule:
- Full Time, 40 hours per week (or whatever hours are necessary to complete the job)
- Monday – Friday
- In/Out times are flexible but must be in the office between 9am – 3pm
