Benson Food Service, in partnership with Southern Foodservice Management, is seeking dedicated Utility/Dishwashers for The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) at its Coastal Georgia Location.

These positions will be working at a very large dining facility, with cafeteria style service that will feed upwards of 5,000 meals each day. The dining hall is open 365 days a year for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing the best possible dining experience at FLETC for every guest.
We offer an excellent optional benefits package for full-time employees and top pay for full-time and part-time. ($17.68 in total when including Health and Welfare). Federal Government base pay increase will be $15.00 plus Health and Welfare for a total of $19.22 starting OCTOBER 1st, 2022
Staff is needed for afternoon/evening shifts primarily and weekend availability is also needed. (11 AM - 7:30 PM)
Candidates must pass a Federal government background check. Processing a Federal background check can take up to 2 to 3 weeks.
We are hoping to begin meeting with potential candidates next week to begin processing the paperwork and background check check process for start date in early May.

Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience as a Food Service Worker or Dish/Utility in a dining facility preferred.
- Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts.
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Positive, helpful attitude toward customers and peers.
- High level of reliability.
Responsibilities and Duties – Utility/Dishwasher
- Mechanically wash, rinse, and sort dishes, glasses and silverware.
- Maintain proper temperature for sterilization and adds soap when needed.
- Clean and keeps in an orderly condition working areas and washrooms, or premises of a commercial or other establishment.
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors and metal fixtures or trimmings.
- Providing supplies and minor maintenance services
- Operate the industrial dishwasher.
- Set a good example for all personnel through appearance in uniform and work ethic.
