Accounting:

·        General Ledger - Preparation of monthly financial statements to accurately reflect the financial condition of the parent company. Must have the ability to thoroughly review the statements for accuracy and ensure that what is being reported is accurate.

·        Oversee month-end and year-end close process

·        Accounts Payable - Key invoices for payment on a timely basis consistent with cash availability. Follow up on bills that are late or missing.

·        Prepare Cash Flow Statements – Project cash availability on a monthly basis on expected receipts and disbursements. Accountability for daily bank balances. Ability to seek out information when needed to determine why cash is low and to communicate to management to get the needed cash.

·        Report/work closely with the Controller to help meet the company’s needs and work on other duties as assigned.


Human Resources/Payroll:

·     Process bi-weekly payroll for 47 employees

·     Workers Comp -process, set up files, manage workers' comp. claims, furnish info needed at renewal time, process audit results at each yearend audit- billing/refunding, etc.

·        Group Insurance- Pull invoices off-line verify insurance company's premiums to our Excel schedules, health, vision, dental, life

·        Insurance Annual Renewal -Acquire information for health/vision/life/dental insurance proposals

·        Employee insurance-process enrollment forms, change forms, terminations, etc.

·        Employee Liaison – Assist with insurance problems, benefits, general, etc.

·        COBRA Responsibilities - produce eligibility notifications, statements, payments

·        Oversee employee files – Produce New-Hire packages, terminations, letters to agencies, unemployment notices, garnishments, etc.

·        Keep up to date on State and Federal laws when educational opportunities are approved by the President. 401K plan administrator, deposits, adds, terms, changes, packages twice per year, key in payroll system Process PTO request.
