Position Summary
The Skate Shop Attendant/ Floor Guard assists in the enforcement of the rink and facility rules. Monitores the floor and skater activity to ensure to safety of all. They make announcements to reduce risks on the floor and ensure a fun skating experience. The attendant will help pass out skate rentals to patrons and help run assigned laser tag games.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Officiates Sparkles skate floor games
- Follows and enforces all rink rules during sessions
- Interacts with patrons in a respectful, cooperative manner
- Reports injuries or accident that occur on the the floor to the manager on duty
- Communicates extensive knowledge policies, and procedures to customers
- Assist with passing out skates, the collection of skates, and organization of roller skates
- Assist with facility restroom tightiness and maintenance
- Works closely with other team members ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist customers with laser tag games
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Experience with customers
- General knowledge of Roller Skating
- Must have full availability on Friday night, any time on Saturday, and Sunday daytime.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends only
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
