As an Intake Coordinator at our outpatient counseling center, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, playing a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and welcoming intake process. You will conduct initial assessments, gather necessary documentation, provide consultations. Additionally, you will coordinate with our clinical team to ensure that all client needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Intake Services: Responsible for admissions and referrals for CWC. Duties may include screening and processing referrals, managing the waitlist for all CWC locations, completing clinical assessments for new clients, scheduling appointments, and providing consultations as needed.
- Medicaid: Provide Medicaid billable mental health and case management services for CWC. Duties may include efficiently and correctly documenting interactions in the electronic health record, managing Medicaid registrations for new clients and renewals every 12 months, and meeting benchmarks as assigned.
- Other: Participate in Peer Reviews. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, MHP qualified per Medicaid standards, previous experience with Medicaid documentation and services, and experience administering clinical assessments.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in an approved field OR 5 years supervised clinical experience in a mental health or social services field and basic knowledge of electronic health records systems
Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must have knowledge of resources available within the mental health/social services field.
Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20 - $18.64 per hour
