What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Analyst position at St Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital?
Payroll Analyst is responsible for checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards. Performs other duties including but not limited to balancing earnings and deduction totals, calculating and preparing general ledger entries, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, preparing and filing tax reports and researching and preparing special reports for Management. Coordinates and reviews general ledger transactions with accounting staff and assist with corrections and questions. Serves as a resouces and support system for payroll coodinator and payroll practitioners. Responsible for researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures. This position relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and works under general supervision.
