What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal) position at St. Nicholas School?
St. Nicholas School is seeking an enthusiastic, child-centered individual to work with children during summer camp. St. Nicholas is a private school for children grades PK3-5th grade. We are located on a 24-acre campus near Hamilton Place Mall.
- Applicants must be active, caring, and child centered. Students studying education and recreation are preferred but training is provided for all applicants.
- Duties include but are not limited to leading and assisting with lessons and activities related to sports, art, music, gardening, etc. and interacting well with parents and peers.
- The position is full time with part time positions also available. We will work around summer class schedules if needed.
- Shifts are as follows:
1) Hours 7-3:30, Monday through Friday
2) Hours 8-4:30, Monday through Friday
3) Hours 11-6, Monday through Friday
(Hours may vary a little)
- Summer Camp BEGINS on May 28th and goes through July 26th.
- Applicants must be 18 years old and pass a TBI background check. St. Nicholas has a random drug test policy.
